Yea, I am a freaking noob. I joined Adwords and some CPA companies yesterday, got accepted by submitting a site owned by a friend.

Got a CC, verified my adwords, all was going well *-- * Started my first campaign, Was bidding 30 cents max CPC for a keyword - Se* .

A day has passed - I don't seee any impressions or clicks. Adwords shows that mny campaign is online - But it's all dead. I have postpaid adwords account.

    Where am I lacking?

You have to raise your minimum bid in order to get get shown. Gradually over time they willl lower your cpc. But I suggest your raise your minimum bid to at least $1-3 a click. Over the span of a few days, it will lower. It will lower but it takes time. Unfortunetely you probably didn't go into to this knowing this, but adwords is not for those on a tight budget. You can't get luck; any success is found through testing, tweaking, and short term money lost.

You need to research more on adwords if you don't know what's going on here. Just jumping in will almost surely result in a loss of money.

Make a higher bid, get adwords notice your ad/s, then gradually lower down your bid 10-15% a day after 3 days.

What if I bid for long keywords?
