I was looking at the windows surface. 16GB ram with i7 but it's $3000

I currently have an acer aspire. i7, 2.2GHz (turbo boost up to 3.2GHz), 12GB ram

But it's about 3 years old and has been starting to slow down. It's also a 17" and i'de like to downgrade to a 15" since I travel a lot.
I run photoshop on it and some video editing programs and work full time on it so I need it to have some solid power =)

There something good out there someone can recommend me checking out?

there are a lot of laptops out there with i7 processors and 16 gb ram that are cheaper than 3000 dollars. I have found an Asus Zenbook Pro. It has an i7 processor with 2.6 GHz and 15.6 '' touch display. Also the deal is with a Windows 10 64 bit home edition. All that for a price around 1400 dollars. Just type laptop with i7 processor on google and find the best solution for you. The one i wrote you about is a nice one and is very cheap but you will be buying so you have to decide.

I am very glad you like my suggestion. I just typed in i7 laptops and there was a site where you can get the best deals on the market and it looked pretty sleek and very good for the money it costs. I am glad i helped :))))

You can consider the Dell Inspiron i7559?

Not i7 but quad core i5 6300HQ (yes its quad core)
    960M
    IPS

Looks like a pretty good deal, definitely better bang for buck than the surface pro
