Whats a good procedure to take when posting new content?

Every time i post new content on my blog, i socially bookmark it to the major sites like Digg, Stumble, etc. But is there anything else i could do to make my post more effective?

Thats what I was wondering unless he was talking about having the permalink show the post title.

Go to a blog search engine (google blog search) and look up the keyword associated with your article. Then post on-topic comments to each of the recent articles that come up in the results. Paste the link to your article in the URL field. Then ping their page...
