Anyone know where to find a good ebook program, I just wanted to make a few ebooks and didn't really feel like paying for one until i asked around to see if there was a good one available for free.

And tips and information is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

Well, there's pdf995, or open office which has a built in pdf maker. Both are free and if you need something else, just google free pdf maker and it will bring up some results.

Yeah, Open Office is great for creating your own ebooks without any hassle. Anybody has any ebook templates for open office? I`ve found a site with some free templates, but I`d be interested in getting some other templates.

I hope this will not considered as hijacking your thread, carryout. I also want to ask the free and reliable software to create a book looking picture. I mean, we can make a cover of the book by using that software. Is that possible ?

    Thanks,
    Ajeeyunz

write your ebook on word or whatever first. when it is complete go to download*com and you can download adobe acrobat for free for a 30 day trial. it is the most widely used pdf software and is EZ to use. you can go black hat 30 days later and uninstall completely and then re-up through a proxy...

just did the original acrobat way for my first ebook this week

did the uninstall reinstall for c4mt4sia last week after my 30 day trial was up, worked well.

    rapidshare limit reached

you can uninstall and reload every 30 days if needed.

if you are needing the service for than 30 days, you hopefully are selling mutiple ebooks and can afford to buy acrobat...or you can go bh and keep re-uping.
