As you can tell from my post count, I'm pretty new. I've been reading as much as I can lately and I already had some domains and stuff that were sitting around doing nothing because I had though about doing IM a year or so ago. Anyway, today I figured I'd try a CL campaign and I was wondering what kind of conversion rates I should be looking at for targeted Craigslist ads. I've gotten 100 people or so to click on the link in my Ad but so far no sales. Just wondering what I should be looking for in terms of conversion rate. I like to try things on my own and I think I did a pretty good job with the ad(I even used an article rewriter to spin my ads so CL doesn't tell me it's the same ad) and even included a relevant image.:) Just hoping to hear what a reasonable # of clicks with no sale I should wait for before I try and tweak my campaign a little bit to hopefully get better results. Thanks!

i e-whore using craigs list and I have to say the conversion rate is bomb, i get about 20 emails a day, and try not to spam the hell out of their services maybe use 4-5 major cities. sometimes i get way more emails but usually 20 a night. of those twenty sometiems i get about 2-3 that signup for my aff site and i usually make then 260-390. last night i made $520.00 so i guess it depends Good luck bro

You should stay within a 2-5% range and things will be alright.
Any offer that is normally higher (some of the gas cards and such) maybe in the 7% riange, so just learn what is typical range and stay within it.

CL is a bit of a trick to learn, so expect to take at least a week to get a feel for what works and what doesn't . Continually refine your ads, responses, etc. and you will see what is causing conversions not to happen (think as if you are the customer). Helped me out in a major way.

Good luck.
