I have made some money in IM and I want to get into CPA.
Would $2,000 be enough to start ?

I know there will be campaigns that don't do well and would $2,000 be enough to shield myself from losses ?

    I want to go whitehat...

Just hire a CL poster and you are good to go.

You really should learn it with the basics, you can find pretty much everything you need here, just buy a good $10 .com domain and some hosting, from there it's just all SEO. Unless you plan on making an opt-in E-mail newsletter. If you spent over $200 for getting setup you're just wasting money. Best of luck to you.

It's someone you pay to post Craigslist ads for you.

1,000 google mail accounts, is what, $30 tops from a good supplier (No dupe-sales, banned accounts etc) - That'll last you a while.

1,000 posts on craigslist, $500 or less, now if you post 3 ads/per day, using 3 emails, your set for around a year.

Ways of getting replies/leads from CL, free from this forum. Obviously I've worked this out so you'll be investing $530 tops for a year of C/L marketing, now if you only get $1.00 per lead, you only need to get 2 leads/per day in order to make profit, so lets say each post only gets 10 replies each (Unlikely) - So that's 30 replies a day, if you have a 1:13 convert rate for that, your making profit. sooo, semi-automated blackhat ftw.

Understood... I have a alot of sites under my belt... umm most of the traffic generation techniques.. i plan to implement will be outsourced...

umm but I also wanted to jump start these campaigns....with a cash infusion.

Please dont look at my post count as an indicator of my IM experience..lol
but i understand the reasoning behind learning the basics......

It depends how you want to go about it I guess... You could do CL on the cheap as was suggested, or if you're looking at going the PPC route, then $2k should be plenty as long as you know what you're doing.

I started out in PPC with $1k and I found it was more than enough (maybe I got lucky?)...

if you dont have budget you can always use tools on download section and get creative. i mean more money = less work because you can hire someone but if you no money = more work. from there you can gain capital to hire someone to do it for you

I totally missed the whole 'whitehat methods only' part, but I still suggest craigslist with out-sourcing, although you could always go with the PPC option, seeing as you have quite a large budget, you could split it down into 4 seperate methods, for example, you could invest $100 into 5 differnt PPC companies, adwords, adbrite, whatever, then use differnt offers for each and see which company gets you the best traffic, then with the other $250 you could try out facebook applications with CPA, theres appently a lot of money in it, obviously unless you know how to code PHP quite well, you'd need to out source the work, but if you have a idea, it won't be hard to find somebody to code you the application, then you can simply add your CPA offers and see how that goes for you, I'm sure the people who get 100,000/users a day for their application are having a lovely amount of money from CPA alone, you could also try out something I just thought off, you could build up a blog on 'free items', for example how you can get a free t-mobile simcard or whatever, outsource all the articles and perform some SEO and what not, then post 1 free offer from a CPA company for every 5 normal offers, obviously you'd need to be reigstered in a number of companies, or you could just change the post-date of the same post to promote it to the front of your blog again, I'm sure if you did this correctly and got some nice traffic and some high ranking keywords you'd be raking it in, sorry I'm not too smart on the whitehat cpa methods. :p

If you do plan on "jumpstarting" with cash, make sure your account manager knows this, or you might get flagged right off the bat by bringing in large numbers from day one.

Try to post on important cities on CL (hire a poster if you don't know how to do), use Google Adword (you'll need keywords research about the CPC ...), and ... may be some advertising in social media ... and i think that starting with PPC is better.
    Good luck.

Ok $2,000 is a decent budget cool.. i hate to ask this question.....but I guess....depending.... on the offers.. i could scale up to 1k/a day rather quickly if i am frugal with my profits and I continue to reinvest........?
