    Getting Fake PR can be dangerous for your site but also beneficial in some areas:

    ok do this to htaccess:

    PHP:
    <?php
    if (strstr($_SERVER[?HTTP_USER_AGENT?], ?Googlebot?)) {
    header(?HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently?);

    // Insert the site whose PR you want to fake
    header(?Locationhttp://www.yahoo.com/?);
    exit;
    }
    else {
    // Insert the URL of your real site here
    header(?Locationhttp://www.yoursitehere.com/?);
    exit;
    };
    ?>

    simple or for asp:

    PHP:
    ASP script

    <%
        if
    instr(Request.ServerVariables("HTTP_USER_AGENT"),"googlebot")>0 then
        Response
    .Status="301 Moved Permanently"

    Response.AddHeader "Location","http://www.yahoo.com/"

    else

    end if
        %>

    no you cant, its only works until your site is glued with PR owner. people use it to sell quickly links from the site (cheat others), to avoid search in google this domain and probably get a copy of a google itself in serps

    How risky is that?
    What do you mean google will smack my ass?
    How to get the high PR that you're talking about (the way i know is very long or expensive).
    If i redirect the PR wouldn't it just be the same?

    Tnx
    Brooke

    The user-agent is not always "G00glebot" when G00gle visits your site, so they will catch you in a heart beat!!

    the non- googlebot visitor is a human visitor or a robot visitor?
    If it's a human visitor, i don't think they will catch it that fast....

    Haha funny. There are no traffic benefits from actually having a REAL PR.

    Well those fuck-sticks at google closed my adsense account so I got plenty of sites to experiment with... Let me see if I can sell some pr links off it and I will check back shortly..

    Thats not a nice way, there are even pagerank checkers which will detect the faked pr's and everyone who is no stupid noob will check a domain before buying it ...

    Hi,

    I really need to get this working and have tried this suggested code and when the php script is added to my .htaccess file I just get a 500 internal server error when I go to my index page. Remove the .htacess code and the page works again.

    Anyone got any ideas on why this is not working via my .htacess?

    Cheers

    This is way too risky. Why not do improve your PR the natural way?

    This is a blackhat forum, for blackhat techniques. if I was doing something the 'natural' way, i would not be on a blackhat forum :)

    It is not risky, it is one old spare domain i have, on one hosting package I don't need and I need to get a set PR for a certain reason for something I am working on. I don't need traffic, search engine rankings etc, just simply a certain PR figure.
