    Hi All,
I am in the process of creating a course on Udemy about programming advance tutorials. I am worried about the pricing and revenue. I have done the below calculations. What you think about it?

Price of course: $20 Price for students in Udemy sales/promotions : $10
After Udemy revenue share my profit: $5
(considering 50% revenue share. Not considering 97% and 25% but taking average)
    Target number of students: 5000
Estimated refund rate: 20% (what you think?)
    Free coupons for promotion: 20%

    Final revenue = $5*3000 = $15k (in 6 months approximately)

Is this realistic ? I know great courses will have great success but I am talking about a above average course with little bit marketing and keyword optimising and may be a facebook campaign. You can consider my course quality is above average but not something very great I would say. Is the time of 6 months normal or can it be achieved in 3 months ?

    Thanks
