What would you do with 100,000hits per day?

I have been in the adult industry for 8 years now.

I have been submitting galleries for 6 of those years and I can easily get 100,000 hits to my movie galleries daily. The only problem is that only 1% of that traffic actually clicks through to the sponsor that I am promoting on that gallery and out of that 1% (1,000hits) I may get one sale (1:1000).

It's getting to a point that it's costing me more money and time than its worth! :banghead:

You could: sell the traffic on traffic*holder, redirect your gallery hits to their network - they pay anywhere from $1-$3 per thousand. Tons of adult gallery sites do this.

or use Blacklabelads and adultadworld interstertials, popups and banners. Or use FPC*traffic who will give you $3 per 1K of "blind hit" traffic.

The reason it doesn't convert is because of the Tube Sites, who is going to pay for what they can get for free. After years of work, you should be seeing some fruits of your labor buddy.
 
have you seen those "reality" galleries where its like promoting AFF or something similar and it looks like a couple who met online. Some nice templates of those are supposed to convert pretty well.

Could always sell traffic?

How about having a mailing list where people can get updated with new galleries? you can easily throw in a link or so in those!

Could open up an online shop selling adult orientated gifts etc.

i don't do adult, but i'm sure some people on here do!

Well I get 99% of the traffic directly to my movie galleries and that traffic cannot be redirected anywhere else.

I could send the 1% click through traffic to a traffic holder but I would only be making $1-3 from my CT traffic. lol

I got a PM from a guy that told me I should cookie stuff all that traffic.

Reputation in the adult biz is everything. Most of the traffic I get is from partner accounts that I got for being trustworthy.

I would need a cookie stuffing script that can replace the referrer with whatever I want. I can't afford to get caught.
 
why not just use popups/layer. just make popups or layer-ads for maybe one hour a day. try it for 2 weeks, every day just for one hour. look how it works and how much money it gives ya and if people leave your site faster if they get layered/popuped. you could also make just one layer @ the starting page.

OTHER POSSIBILITY: Let them rate your galleries. The best galleries need 0,50$ paypal-payment. many will pay, believe me!

THIRD POSSIBILITY: Place Pay-Per-View Banner! They 'll get you nearly no money, but if you put them in the footer or something no1 will be disturbed but you will just get some extra cash.

The websites I submit my galleries to have special scripts to detect popups/redirect/etc

That would get my galleries removed instantly and potentially get my partner account deleted.
 
cookie stuffin, ew, I mean wut are u gonna stuff, ebay? They may go after you, gonna stuff your non-converting affiliates that your users aren't going to sign up for anyway?

It sounds like you post galleries on other sites, users click on those images and go to your image, right?

Well, just have "enticing" shit to click on all around image page. Get your images from other gallery sites...

Or just sign up w/ the ad brokers I mentioned, I make $10 per 10K pageviews using those ad networks you can ask me for my affiliate url =) and maybe I can help get it set up if you'd like.

I believe CPA lead doesn't allow adult sites, but if you can make people to believe they are coming to your gallery, and then serve them some bogus page with cpa lead on them, you could make lot of money with those 100 000 hits. As long as they believe they will be able to see the movie gallery after they fill a survey
 
If you can edit the landing page to have maybe the top 2 that lead to downloads and then put 5-10 enticing images below that lead to traffic*holder redirects I would do that.
 
Hmm.. You guys just don't understand how movie galleries work.

Here is an example.

I submit my new movie gallery to http://www.dansmovies.com and within 24hrs my movie gallery should be listed on his new movie galleries section. After a few days it gets pushed down into the archive section and placed into the appropriate category.

I get all this traffic to multiple active pages. This is not traffic on a single website.
 
what about cookie stuffing ? have you tried that ?
 
Cookie stuffing would be great, but again, what would he stuff for?

Have you tried using Dating CPA offers like AFF? I hear those convert fairly well.
 
You guys think stuffing is easy task. Stuffing only works when you know what someone is going to buy otherwise you'll have tons of clicks but no conversions and a worried eye from your affiliate manager.
 
def just start stuffing AFF, they have a bunch of diff choices for their affiliate program.
 
Do you host the images yourself?

Edit the gallery to include a 5th movie.. one that points to the affiliate with your referral link and not to an actual mpeg. (Or an actual mpeg which redirects to the affiliate if you so wish)

Think about it, the people interested in the movie will download the first 4 and then go for your 5th movie and be prompted on how to find more of that model. I imagine you coud easily get more sales this way. It's a little more deceitful.. but you still offer 4 movies, so it shouldn't be against the TOS with your promoting networks..

id run them all through a content protection gateway with a simple quick way to access the content. vote for something, enter email zip, etc. and if u have the most enticing and rare looking thumbnail image ppl will do 1 action to see what it is.

i dunno if that would work but i wanna try that rt now ahha too bad i dont know how to get started making these little galleries..
