    ---- THREAD CLOSED 09/24/2015 ----
Hey guys, I'm looking for some advice or input. I guess in a general sense, I'm wondering how risk averse you are. Specifically, would you risk guaranteed automated income for a decent chance to make a fortune?

I'm looking to get some feedback on if/when you think it's worth it to risk a profitable whitehat campaign by adding an element that would make it blackhat. The potential upside will exceed $40k/month by making it blackhat (I'm sorry for the necessary vagueness of what that entails).

Essentially the question is: would you risk $60K/year autopilot to get some quick gains with a blackhat method that would all but guarantee ~ $40K/month - if only for a short or uncertain time period (given the fact that many people and lots of money are dedicated to closing this vulnerability). I've used it successfully, I know that the blackhat method works. I've set it up and can implement it with one click. But it could be discovered at any moment. There are systems in place to prevent this opportunity from even existing. I found one small, yet tremendously profitable overlooked detail, there's no guarantee how long it will be overlooked. Should I let it run?

If you were in this position, what things would you consider/variables would you weigh before letting it run?

Sorry if this was confusing or seemed like a bit of a ramble. It's 3:30 a.m. for me and I've got to be up early, but this decision is weighing on me kind of heavily. Thanks for any input.

Don`t risk it. I´m pretty sure that there are options to do it both ways - keep your white hat project and duplicate it as blackhat too. If blackhat works then just scale it up.

    Cheers

You only live once, will you regret not clicking that button later in life?

STRONGLY depends on your situation. Can you can afford to lose it (i.e. $60k p/a)? If you lost your income tomorrow, how would it affect your family/lifestyle? Would you still be able to support yourself? The answer to this will tell you, one way or the other, what you should do.

Is there any way that you could do both? Even if it took a little longer to set up the BH version along side it? (I'm being vague as no idea what form this earnings is from!).

It depends on the risk-reward ratio. Personally, if I feel that I stand a good chance of remaining undetected for at least 6 months, I'll go ahead with the BH option.

Why not duplicate your site in a different domain / hosting and do it blackhat? That way you have less the risk and double the money.

Cant you duplicate this $60K-autopilot-income campaign you have, and apply the BH on the duplication?

Can you try the technique on another campaign first? If it survives > 3 months, go for it.

I'm guessing you're looking at cloaking a PPC campaign?
