I will keep this post brief. I've been doing SEO work for 5 years. 2 of those last years was work on my own. My brother-in-law has had a much more varied work history and has recently found himself in possession of 40 computers (mid range by 2008 standards) and a large team of (mostly) data transcribers led by a very competent manager. How he ended up in charge of them is a complicated story of its own but that doesn't matter for now. Currently, he keeps the team busy with small projects making minimal profit. But they are paid on a project basis and he fears he might lose them if he doesn't find another project. So he comes to me and asks: Is there any way we can use these guys? Here's what we currently have. A place we can use like an office, the aforementioned computers, a large team we can train to do specific (even tedious & menial) tasks, a few team leaders to train in more important tasks, and an experienced marketing team. This is a big opportunity for us and so I would like to ask you guys; what would you do if you were in our shoes? What do you think would be long-term and profitable? There are lots of ways to go about this and most of my thoughts are leaning towards building an SEO firm. I would absolutely appreciate any ideas given to me. If you want to learn more, please ask away. IMPORTANT NOTE: We are in a third-world country. The whole team is 100% fluent in English. They don't need much pay as the cost of living for them is ridiculously cheap but they are still better paid than most people here. I am also not sure if this thread is in the right location. If it is, I would like to apologize in advance.
