This is rather funny. I'm still a student and on vacations so I decided to get back to IM while I was free. The initial days were not too rewarding and recently I hit jackpot after contacting and collaborating with a guy from here. And I made around 150$ in a day and a half.
And now the guy has been off for almost 2 days now and am just dying of this wait for him to come on and me to hand in my work and cash in the $$.
I feel useless by the minute doing nothing but waiting. I feel like I should get back to doing something in CPA and wait till he's back. I liked this work though, easy work and good pay. Hope he's back lol!

What would you guys do? Wait for the reply to and carry on with some other method you know or simply just wait? :cow04:

I was a freelance consultant for a long time, many times I lost my primary source of income, in fact it is part of the game. When it happens you just find something new, quickly and sort your shit out. What defines us here is not how much we can make but more how quickly we can turn it arround when the shit hit the fan.

    Good luck.

You should probably have a back up plan for everything incase the first one goes down. Nothing really lasts forever, you don't wait for something to happen, you make something happen. You're lucky you found an easy work and good pay but like what they said nothing good comes easily or something good comes easily but it also has the possiblity of losing it easily as well. :D

Exactly. I have now moved on to better methods and am trying to improve on them by the day and am seeing results already. :)

That's the problem of Freelancing isn't it? You could go without a job almost instantly. xD
    Why do fall or fail?
So that we can learn to pick ourselves up and try harder right?
    Exactly what happened. :)

If I lost 1 income stream, I would just look for another one.

I figure the freedom of working for myself is worth the stress, I guess. lol When I take contracts, I think I feel even less stress because I know I have freelancing to fall back on and I get a weekly paycheck. But then I get caught up in corporate BS and I'm reminded that I hate it.

Yes! But I was struggling to get a foothold in IM after a long break an this was just what I needed. And now things are fine. :)

Ahahah I wouldn't mind doing IM full-time myself. I could do away with Freelancing and make more than enough for myself than I would with some college education. It's good to hear such stuff. Truly motivates you to really try harder each time.
My favorite quote is - "Formal education can make you a living;self-education can make you a fortune".
Read that right here on BHW. And IM is pretty much 85% self-learning and the rest is just you giving your best in implementing what you've just taught yourself. :)

Moving on is the wisest choice everytime.
You gotta accept defeat and just come at it harder each time right? :)

I know it sounds obvious; but, look for another one.

Also it is important to be very open to things you would otherwise reject as moronic in order to not pass by golden opportunities.

That's what I had in mind. Am trying my hand at everything that's coming my way and I haven't been this successful in 2 years that I've been into IM. (on and off )
I'm also doing it for the experience. There's nothing better than some hands-on experience :)
    Thanks for the advice man!

Well considering it would then be a choice f be poor or try and make it back, most of us would choose to try and make it back.

you can start looking for a job like that on upwork or any other freelancing site, if you have experience in the field you won't have any problem to complete the task :)

Always have a plan B, C, and so on. Anything can fall through with IM, freelancing, even a 9-5 job. Never sit around waiting for someone to pull your fat out of the fire be it a business partner or a friend. Try to work on alternative sources of income so if that partner shows up what you make with them will just be gravy.
