    Small site goes with WP Ecommerce; Middle site goes with Zencart, big site with Magento.

    I vote for Shopify because;
    - it is a fully managed service on awesomely fast servers
    - they provide a fully integrated payment gateway (Credit/Debit Cards, as well as Paypal etc.)
    - anyone can get it setup and start selling, you do not need a web developer to get going
    - you can find free/cheap themes for it as wide and varied as for Wordpress
    - there is an App marketplace to do things like Email marketing to people who abandon their cart

    I have personally built stores using WooCommerce, ZenCart, Magento and can honestly say that Shopify wipes the floor with them. I've invested man-months of my life installing, setting up, tweaking, and wrestling with performance and load times that I will never get back and would have been saved if only Shopify was around at the time. :)

    Best of luck venturing into ecommerce!
