I have 2 websites (.co.uk and .com in same niche EMD's) that I optimized for the main keyword, after the Google algo updates the site has dripped from top 100 pages (.com) :( I also checked the backlinks and found alot of toxic links from a competitors seo guy (he worked for me) and offered me Negative SEO for competitor that I turned down, it looks as though he has done it to me! I site has had the links disavowed and links built this was #1 for 2 years and now it is on page 4!!! (.co.uk) I am about to disavow the toxic links on .com site.

Looking at ahrefs I have over optimized the main kw, as it stands at 30%, I have started using the url to rank for but that is only at 4%. How can I increase the links for the domain name without completely screwing it up?

We have been posting unique content on the blog attached to the domain but nothing is improving the domains position, I have been told to hold off making any backlinks due to the current changes in Google - this was from a guy offering me quality backlink hire.

What can you suggest to get results and what have I to avoid?

Please let me know, I am going crazy!!!!!

You could always buy a diversity package which you would then drip feed over 1-2 months. :)

So have you seen a rise? Yesterday you posted you had not??
"8 days have passed and I am still not in top 100. I hope that you guys are drip feeding the links that you're giving me. I bought diversity links too."

Just focus on posting quality contents in high quality guest blogs and PBNs. Don't over optimize your keywords, if you do then you're more likely to get penalty for that. Instead go for diversified Tier link building to get SERP improvements. Alongwith quality link building social signals can drive you real targeted visitors. Before that conduct a link audit and make sure that your spam links are completely removed.

Thanks, the problem is I can't find any PBN's. So I intend on building my own.

what i've found works for me is this:

    1) buy good sounding domain that's easy to remember (branding). doesn't have to have kws in it.
    2) write good content, put videos, images, etc.
    3) build links to domain url. let rest for a week or so.
    4) build links to individual pages you want to rank. your pages will rank for *insert kw*, not your domain
    5) get visitors

    • Thanks Thanks x 1

Google always give new websites preference in any niche, in a few months come back and see if it is still there, chances are it will have dropped unfortunately.
