There is so many out there, Divi, Elementor, Astra, Avada, GeneratePress, Generate Blocks...

Criteria:
- Multiple sites with one license
- Wide range of functionality without the need of more plugins
- Modern looking ahead 2024/2025
- Speed duh!

What do you recommend, and why?

Thanks

GeneratePress + Generate Blocks + (CSS + HTML) = what I use for most of my sites.
I do not foresee me changing this anytime soon
Unless something drastic changes

For page builders, I'd recommend Elementor or Bricks Builder. Elementor is good for beginners and the massive ecosystem. Bricks Builder is super fast and lightweight. It also comes with a lifetime license.

For themes, I'd recommend GeneretePress, Astra, and Blocksy. All are well-supported and lightweight you can't go wrong with any of them.

I was very unimpressed with GP. To gain the basic functionality of Twenty Twenty Four you need the Pro and on top of that you need GB.
I am pretty sure it's very powerful combination.

For my premium sites I use Avada, it's a little slower but the control I get it's vast. $69 per premium site it's not an issue, but for micro sites, PBNS, it's a no no.

That's a normal reaction for GP
Without CSS+HTML knowledge, GP is barebones, it gives you everything you need for your blog, and you add your own customization to make it pretty.
That's pretty much what GP really is.
It's not an Everything-You-Need-Bundled-Together theme like the others.
There are pros & cons to this approch.
For me, it's fine, I know CSS, I know HTML, I know JS i can make my things pretty. I don't need bloated add-ons and 940109342 other features that I probably only need a few or maybe even 1 or 2 from.

I'm currently trying out Breakdance on 2 sites after reading various positive reviews. My son is designing one site and has no previous WP experience but seems to be getting on well with it. My other site, I'm only using it on a staging site at the moment and that site is using Botiga,

I know code and my reactions was regarding how you need to pay for functionality that's actually freely available.
They give you google fonts while taking away the editor; if you know code you can get a lot more from TTF and add what GP gives you.
I am sure it's a powerful tool for many, just not for me.

I am currently replacing all Elementor templates with Gutenberg.

Why?

Because Elementor became too much bloated...
Yes, I been trying to get into the blocks and gutenberg. But themes have limitations still. TTF needs mods, so you will end up bloated at the end.

Elementor is represented as an exceptional WordPress page builder, providing an effective and user-friendly plugin enabling the effortless crafting of unique websites.
Did you ever use it or is it a habit to post AI responses?
Elementor is too heavy and your website loading times will go through the roof. It will probably kill some starter websites who are just starting out hosting on shared plans.

I think, Seedprod is the best Wordpress page and website builder in the market. Seedprod offers a users friendly drag and drop interface that requires no coding skills.

There are a lot of decent page/block builders (pretty much any builder is decent). I just try to avoid ones that had vulnerabilities in the past or/and are too bloated/slow.
