What was the mistake you did which still haunts you to this day?

My choice of Engineering as career.
Everything has been good no complaints.
But, I never enjoyed it.
Funny thing I still don't know what I would have done instead. :p

For me it wasn´t a financial one but not pursuing my dreams of becoming a programmer back when I was about t start my college studies.

My parents decided (for me) I was going to study Economy since both of them did. Especially because programming was a "new" career that wasn´t too popular here in my country at that time and, also, it was in a private college. While Economy was the best public college in my town so, the decision seemed to be the most "logical" at the time but I am still kicking myself for not diving into programming afterward.

Procrastinating for 4 years.

Yes... it can happen without realizing it.

I know this very well, I took 3 years to start my side business after I took the decision to do so...

Sometimes life passes you by and you just don't see it.

I also chooses the wrong studies. (political science/psychology and dropped out)

Economy is a logical choice and it's by far not the worst choice so I understand them.

You could have chosen "philology bachelor " :D

for me, my choice of degree. in my defense, we were told we would have this whole variety of job opportunities. and generally, you do, but in the specific college i went to, due to the teachers they have available, they teach you a specific subset of that variety of choices. and you don't really realize you have been pigeonholed until 4th year.
Same, and party a lot
at least you had fun, most procrastinators cant even say that

Missing out on not saying goodbye properly to friends/family when they are alive and it haunts me when they pass away suddenly. Especially my grandfather.

These days i take my time and spend time properly. You will never know when is the last time :)
