What was SO wrong with my LEGIT CL ad?

Do any of these seem bad to you? I am selling some music instruments I dont need.

2) WOW-I just got ANOTHER one flagged. WTF?

I even had LEGIT pictures I took. WHy am I getting flagged for REAL postings?

God, CL SUCKS NOW.

Have you done anything from that IP on CL before?

No, I have not. I actually logged in after MONTHS to sell my instruments.

I have NEVER done any CL marketing either.

This is TOO weird!

I am thinking that people who got angry that I would not accept $20 bucks for my Fender Guitar and Fender Amp might have flagged it.

That's always possible. You'd be surprised at the amount of normal people that get pissed off at CL for things like ghosting or flagging.

Couldn't tell ya. Maybe try to make the ad a little bit smaller with less info... That always seems to work for me lol.

Try reducing the size of the images so you can post pictures. Include a phone number as well. This should stop those flag happy viewers.

I did post pictures.

I never put a phone number on there because I don't feel comfortable with it.

But why would you flag that? There was nothing offensive in it....and there are no aff links or anything.

It is just a girl trying to sell her guitar!

People like to flag ads. They don't need a reason. Adding a phone # is the way to go.

It MIGHT be people but you may not be able to do anything but wait until there's a break in the flagging action whether it's a person or a bot doing it.

There was a thread on here a couple weeks ago and there was a guy who was doing some serious autoflagging...basically flagging and killing every ad posted to "thin the heard" and then putting up their ads so they would have less competition. It happens in the personal sections but I'm sure it's happening in other areas too as people find a way to "market" things through other areas of CL.

Next time, before you post your ad, try opening a few of the other legit looking ads in the section and see if they've been flagged. If so, it's a pretty good indicator there's a bot on the warpath.

CL is just becoming worse it seems.

no i disagree this has been an attempt to get us to leave and they know they cannot keep this up for long...some people want the spam too...they will do this until they see less traffic from certain places i see adds sticking in minor markets more than larger ones.

Yeah I've been trying to sell some legit golf clubs on there for a while and all of my posts keep gettin taken down.

Isnt it annoying? Like why the fuck would you want to take down golf clubs or a guitar?

just wait a few hours to respond..i've done this b4. it alllows my ad to be live long enough b4 it is flagged
