I recently got approved for monetization on my YouTube account, but none of my videos seem to fit the qualifications (mostly remixes and stuff.) Sorry for a dumb question, but I was wondering what types of videos fit the strict guidelines they set and will not seem suspicious if it gets a lot of views?

    Thanks.

Videos you create 100% from scratch.

Find something you're good at. Play an instrument? Good at gaming? Good at reviews?

Just find something that satisfies a niche that people will want to see.

What about funny video reviews like Ray William Johnson? How can he get paid for other peoples videos essentially? Whenever I upload something like this to my account I cannot monetize it at all.

Well obviously you know about the copyright laws and so forth, and it's already been said that you need 100% unique videos that no one else can claim as theirs. What are you interested in? What kind of things can you help people with through videos? Get creative, and I'm sure you will think of something.

Thanks for the advice, I'll come up with something. I'm into music and gaming, but unfortunately both seem to violate copyright issues unless I made 100% original music. Maybe I'll start learning to make dubstep or something lol.

I suppose another option is to film my cat and hope he does something ridiculous :)
