that particular wiki doesn't simply allow singing up,
there are many public wikis in which many are spammed,
you don't really need any specific one neither any of these

never tested off page ranking solely using these,
neither seen any website ranking only using wiki links,
you can find many publicly available to add content & many of them are added to tools like rankerx, gsa, etc...
these do barely get indexed and won't do much great of a work, if any,
other wiki links like wikipedia, fandom, etc... can be usefull,
yet, they're harder to get, most are noindex and can be an addition to the overall off page,
you won't rank with these tho, not for any competitive keywords/ncihes
surely not,
wiki links tend to have much outband links usually, nofollow tag & the wiki itself have too many pages,
the link(s) won't have such great value in most cases,
it's a good one for website trust, topical authority probably,
won't have as much impact as a good pbn or guest post link(s)

@bunaziua, depending on your project focus on acquiring quality niche links, country-specific links and high authority news editorial links.
Wiki pages are mostly no-index and no-follow and it won't serve your SEO goals any good.
Along with that you will need may other type of links but you have to start somewhere, and go from there.
