Hello Everyone,

What type of content search engines like most, articles or videos? What do most SEO experts look for while building links, articles or videos? Is it the cost factor that is restricting SEO experts to use videos for promotion? Please suggest.

Content that has good grammer, organized with related images and videos while being informational (useful) to the readers. I think these are important in search engine’s eye.

While, content that is dublicated and poorly written will be a negative point for your website and it will not rank in my opinion.
 
How will a search engine know if a video is original or copied from other sources?
 
Search engines are bots not humans. Is there any way they can identify the originality of videos?
 
If you are hosting the videos and you reconvert the videos, then there is no way for se to know the originality of the video....unless you forgot to edit the video title, description!
 
To rank highly in search engines, websites must optimize their content for SEO by using keywords and paying attention to the quality and relevance of their content. By creating unique content that is relevant and interesting to the reader, sites have a greater chance of rising to the top of the rankings.
 
As for written contents, there's always been the argument of quality over quantity and vice versa. I say, why not go for both? A detailed, well-written, well optimized in terms of keywords and images, article is the way to go.

I think you did not notice my question. The question was what is better for search engines, articles or videos.
 
Articles with videos and images...if you have only text then the visitor will spend time reading that text, if you also add images, they will check, maybe compare images...if you add a video, they will also watch the video...so this all results in more time spent on site, so this means search engines will send you more visitors...
 
Visual content is more popular than text , the people will stay longer..
 
Content May Be King, But Context is the Queen. So, write content to help readers not to earn money
 
Video is more understandable than Content

Compare with Text, Video is the most powerful reach and building backlinks.
YouTube consumes more than 1 billion hours every single day. So, create more effective videos and build backlinks to videos.

Videos are the best bet but if it is a combination of unique text and video both, then certainly search engine will give it more preference.
Certainly, proper backlinks on good DA,PA websites will be icing on the cake.
 
It changes from time to time with the increasing demand of a particular content. If you wish your content to be highlighted in the searches always focus on making quality contents and track its performance. Make required updates, revise it and put the next content. Likewise, one day you will achieve your goal.
 
Articles have worked well for me.

Honestly, it depends on the niche. Some niches aren't well suited for video. However, if you can do a video, then it's easy to turn it into an article.
 
Detailed articles are being liked by Google. Many of the IMers are going up to 5000 words articles as well and they get good search engine ranking.
