Hello, I realize that the marketplace here provides great tools that can be used to make money and I want to take advantage of it.
I don't want to do keyword and niche research because I'm terrible at it so I'm planning on purchasing a service (seems like theres tons of great ones here) that does it for me in addition to building the website.
I'm still going to need SEO and quality content to start making money though, but I'm willing to pay for that as well.

I was wondering if someone could tell me exactly what kind of SEO I need for a micro niche site or in general what is needed to start making money once I have a site in a proper niche with good keywords.

    Thanks in advance.

Building a social presence can lead you to results in additional to standard link building by networking with other people in your niche.

Other than that avoid spammy link building tactics and focus mainly on long term strategies.

You don't really need to spend money to start - just do a lot of reading of BHW. In particular, both basstrackerboat's and Hekke's posts on keyword research (just search their usernames and "threads started).

They both take a "common sense" approach and don't rely on keyword tools. The danger of this forum (imho) is there are lot of competing products and types of SEO. I understand you want to outsource it, but I think it's good to get a basic understanding of what you need to spend money on.

Having said that, also check out "Ligthningblitz's" threads:

    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...-engine-optimization-quick-guide-newbies.html

The three posters I mentioned have great threads so you just need to invest a bit of time.

You should go to Download section, find some WSO course and learn some basic knowledge before buying services. Buying without knowing anything is quick way leading you out of the game. Asking is good, but I think some detail ebooks will give you more information than thread like this.

I do not think you will get better advice than this. There are many people telling you you can make a zillion bucks, but the you find that you are somewhat out of pocket seeing the you spend money on the wrong things, or you find you spend money on the correct tools but you do not know how to use them to turn this into money.

Tools come after knowledge. A very common example to help you understand - I pay an annual subscription for PhotoShop. Do I know anything about it? No. So is the tool helpful to a user who knows nothing about it? Nope. I've heard it's really good and powerful for editing pictures and I don't wish to do it myself. So I pay a guy to do it. He takes months to do a small image. He says that he delivered it quickly. Now, if I knew more about PS, I'd know the kind of expertise people have in the software and how quickly they can do things in it. He took months and fooled me into paying him a full payment simply because I don't know how much time it's supposed to take. Learn about the things the tool promises to make easier, then buy the tool.
