    Hey!

I have searched Google but I couldnt find a complete htaccess sample file I could use if I dont want my site indexed on any search engines? Could you please give me the exact code what I should write into the htaccess file?

Lets say I have one main project in my ftp /html. And I have my secondary project in ftp /html/project1. If I have the index file of the secondary project in the project 1 folder and I just want the secondary project not to get indexed, I just have to put that file in the project1 folder, right?

sorry for these noob questions but I am pretty new :)

    thank you for your support!

You have to look into robots.txt

    replace with this

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /

OK at the moment thats in robot.txt:

    Code:
    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /images
    Disallow: /Layouts/
    Disallow: /scripts/
    Disallow: /stylesheets/
    Disallow: /flash
    Disallow: /video
and I should remove all of them and just leave

    ?

I will try it! Thank you! :)
