I am trying to build a PBN. There are services that sell high PA tumblr blogs or high DA wordpress sites. However, when I conduct research on the domains, many of them have N/A for CF and TF.

So, what metrics should I look for when buying these types of sites? Should I look for ones that have high DA or PA only and not worry about CF and TF? or look for sites that have both high DA and PA as well as CF and TF?

I can get 10 tumblr blogs with PA 27+ but I am not sure if they are actually crap.

    thanks!

PA/DA can be easily manipulated (as with most metrics) so take those figures with a pinch of salt look at the overall quality of the backlinks.

TF for sorting and manual due diligence for selecting the domain(s) is the way to go, never rely on just a metric

You should use all metrics. If domains fail in certain metrics then give up on them.

I use many different metrics and tools to determine whether a domain is worth it.

I look over the 'quick stats' on DHG, which shows the PA/DA/TF/CF, to determine whether or not to look deeper. If it looks good at first glance, I will then paste the domain in Majestic, Moz, AHrefs, and SEOprofiler.com, to check the backlinks and anchor text.

It sounds overkill, but every tool brings back different backlinks.

I will manually check all the main backlinks, and see if the link is contextual, a comment, a profile link etc etc

If the metrics look good, and the backlinks and anchor text look fine, I will lastly have a look at the archive on wayback machine, to see what the site used to be, or if it has been used more than once. That's pretty much all I do.

First,Look at the Wayback - how the site used to be in the past.If it looks spammy (or) chinese (or) Japanese just leave the site and move on to next domain.

DA and PA Can be easily manipulated, one of my friend spammed a domain to death and ended up getting 25 DA and 30 PA in 3 Months.Go to Majesticdotcom and look at the quality of links. If they are from Chinese/Spammy domains just drop it.

First,go to checkmozdotcom and see both versions with and without [www] Copy the subdomain which has good DA and PA and paste it in majesticdotcom and look at the results.TF,CF - Always remember to pick CF>TF Domains.ex : CF:25,TF:20.If you want to build a good PBN,select domains which has TF,CF above 20 - 25.Most importantly see the quality of links

Anything DA20+, TF10+ and 50+ referring domains is worth taking a look. If you check it manually and it has a natural link profile/some authority links in there, check archive.org. If that goes good as well, grab it.

High TF and DA are good combination with good quality of backlinks. Also, check the WHOIS History of the domain. Don't waste your time checking on domains when: domain was dropped 4 times, nameservers have .jp or .ru or it contains jp and spam-abuse.

I like to use PA/DA as a "link juice" indicator.

I usually go for domains with 20+ DA and 30+ PA.

I then look for 15+ TF.

If the domains has these metrics I then manually check the link profile and make sure its not just a bunch of blog comments or profile links.

TF and CF are better than PA - also check the link profile of each domain that's even better!

Man - you SEO's are simply too freakin' smart. You could seriously hurt someone with all these acronyms. Casting my best practices vote for using all the various metrics - or outsourcing your PBN production to serious pros if you have the capital. It's often easier to buy something than to build it yourself. It isn't often cheaper.

DA matters a lot when it comes to rank one website.
