K so after doing some keyword research i wanted to launch a blog related to that niche on blogspot.. only to find that some loser is hogging all the domains related to that niche..

like every variation of the keyword, with or without the hyphen(-), from two words to 4 word domains..

all of them taken and not a single post on them was made... he just took em and reserved em.

can anything be done about this?

If they are domain names, maybe you could offer him/her a price and buy it from him?

It's on blogspot anyway.. I have not seen or even heard of people flipping or selling or buying blogspot sub-domains.

You are not alone. I'm having hell of a time finding a good keyword domain name that is avaliable. I'm finding lots of squatters on the keywords I want to get. It just seem like a colossal waste of money just sitting on those keyword domains instead of putting some content on them. Although I'm noticing that .me is always avaliable in most keywords I search for, though I'm not sure if .me can reach to the top of google ranking as well as .info, .com, and .net does.

uhhh... why don't you get a real domain with one of the keywords instead of a blogspot

I did! Thats the heart wrenching thing. They were all proper domain ventures and all keyword domains were taken
