hi there, I realise I may have originally posted this thread/question in the wrong section.

Please advise me if its at the wrong place.

    Here we go :

Hi there, I know soneone who works for a big online Casino site and got me this list of 2.7k users that all have these things in common :

    - they are registered members of that said online casino
    - first name and last name provided with emails have been authentified during subscription, either by credit card comparison or by sending IDs to casino website
-THEIR BIRTHDAY ARE ALL IN AUGUST. (Since the website offers special promotion on your birth-month) and this is a list of those who are eligible to these special promotion

List seems small but those 2700 people are only members who have teir birthday in august.

list contains Email adress, first name and last name. I erased some lines because those were Self Exluded customers. That means they realisez they had gaming problems and knew they werent able to control themselves to not come back and play again so they banned themselves for a period of 1 to 5 years. I dont care sending promotions to people, but I would not wabt to send gaming promotions to people that have admitted ganing problems.

i could get a list like for every month.

fact is, I cannot be associated with this list since they consented to get promotions by email, but only from the sebsite in question.

is there a way I could make money with that ? Either by selling it or by using it to bring some amazon or clickbanks sales BUT my identity is linked to these affiliate.

suggestions on what to do with it or where or to whom sell it ?

    thanks!

Create an online poker review site, become an affiliate with all the poker sites and use the list to drive traffic to your site and hope they generate leads. I'm just thinking out loud on that idea though. I suppose you could sell the list but you'd need to verify in some way it's genuine to the buyer.

I gotta be honest : that "friend of a friend of a friend" ol' tale was just a figure of speech.

Let say that that it's the main reason why I don't want my identity linked to it.

I thought about affiliates, I thought about sending some "since your birthday's coming up, we thought we might offer you (...)" and plug it to some game related deal, strategy book, and/or "Since your birthday's coming up, we proudly reveal to you our new gaming partner, 3 weeks before everybody else! visit : _______" or something, but all these associates account have to be linked to my real name, is it ?

This is why I was thinking about selling the list, but even there, I dont know how to prove that these people are realy having their birthday in that month. I might be able to prove they're members of the casino by asking the seller to try any email and try to register an account with it and they'll get a message saying that it is already in use, but that's pretty much it.

It's a kinda "yeah, you gotta believe me" thing.

Is there some kind of affiliates who are not picky on identity, as long as traffic and sales are made ? Furthermore, is it possible to have a paypal account not linked to my name, only to my bank account ?

for sure the easiest way for me would be to sell it, but I wouldn't know how to sell it, maybe accepting a very low "first month" price, so the seller could experiment and then see information is genuine, and then selling my next months lists for higher price ?

Other thing that is holding me, is the fact that exept from here, i dont know any other places where this could be sold, and as I have no pertinent knowledge at SEO (exept the knowledge already spread here that I gather the most I can), so I dont think I'll get enough helping posts to ever become VIP JUNIOR and have access to Marketplace sales.. so I'm kinda stuck here ! lol

in fact, i'm not affraid of members making problems or complaints, I'm concerned about the original site hearing about the leak and have THEM looking around affiliates trying to find what infos they have on me to find the source of the leakage. Is there a way to avoid that ?

And one question about your message, is it important to have a real unsubscribe link that realy removes that users name from the list, or is it also part of the bs ?

and by the ways, thanks for your answer, the fact that I'm looking for holes in the plan is me trying to be paranoid enought to not get in trouble, not me not appreciating suggestions hehe
