Hello, I started to get up from bed at 5:30 A.M. sometimes earlier but no late than 5:45 A.M. my goal is to make a habit soon. My bed time is 9:30 P.M. and I fall asleep with no problem. I have breakfast, shower, be ready for work from 6:30 to 7:20, by 7:25 I'm getting inside the car.

I'm not taking advantage of my extra time, I wish I could start working on a method for at least 1 hour every morning instead of just reading forums. This would be 7 productive hours per week (including weekends).

Any ideas?

4 weeks ago I was getting up at 7:00 A.M. everyday. No time for shower or breakfast, I got tired of it and decided to be on track again. I'm not using Facebook anymore, reading other forums (BHW only), visiting self-improvement blogs or playing PS3 long time. I uninstalled a lot of Android Apps, I'm proud of my progress but still need to click my brain to start making things happen.

Someone said you should start your day with something you love so hard that you wish to wake up immediately. I don't feel like working on my clients websites or wasting time dreaming about cool things.

I was thinking about maybe start a porn blog? Some venture that I really enjoy and can make money from it.

I highly recommend you read 'Miracle Morning' by Hal Elrod.

You can signup for a free trial of Audible, which gives you two free audiobooks. Make it one of them.

If you love Porn, then starting a porn blog is a perfect idea. It is pretty competitive, and there isn't that much low lying fruit left in the market, but at least you can hardly go wrong spending your time doing something you enjoy such as watching/scraping/making porn. Just be sure to plan out your project strategies, and then implement with little to no deviation and then measure your success and adapt accordingly.

Use you hands if you know what i mean..(Please don't ban me ill delete this posts if offensive)

Thank you guys, I appreciate your comments.

Do meditation(silent moment with yourself, or in short don't think of anything just be still and focus on inhaling/exhaling) for 20 minutes upon waking up. If you're first timer with this... try to achieve at least 5 minutes and increase it overtime until you can reach 20 minutes or beyond. It's relaxing and a good way to start your day :)

After that... you can either workout, or cook your food for breakfast...

Offtopic: how do you manage to sleep at 9:30 PM? I usually sleep at 1:30 AM - 2:00 AM and my routine is to wake up at 8-9 AM, any tips? :D

@Brad100 same here buddy. I sleep at 9:30pm when I am at village where there's no broadband or high speed internet access! lol

To OP, I would suggest to do heavy exercise in the gym or at home and you'll feel energetic whole day.
You can try Yoga too if you're comfortable doing it.

play skyrim, its better than exercise

You should start with an hour of jogging every morning.

You can go jogging. This way you would improve your overall health.

Does it really matter what time you get up, I usually wake up at 9 and go to sleep at 12.

I wake up whenever I want (generally between 12PM - 3PM).
I go to sleep whenever I want (generally between 1AM - 3AM).

In between those times, I do whatever it is that I want to do on that day.

Sometimes I want to watch Netflix all day and eat pizza.

What I'm getting at is: Do whatever you want, whenever. I don't buy into all the "routine" stuff like going to bed at the same time, waking up at the same time etc, having X hours to do Y etc.

Life is too short, enjoy it.

Today I woke up at 7:10 A.M. I didn't accomplish anything special. I forgot to put my alarm clock far far from my bed and made a to-do list so this 5 AM thing really inspires me.

What about writing a blog about writing a blog every morning? :joke:

I always wanted to write a self-improvement blog (I even bought a domain 2 years ago).

I'd rather do some business in the morning than workout.

lol, I get up at 3:50 AM or so and head to work. even earlier on mondays. Only work 4-5 hours. come home and workout for an hour, before working on websites, creating content and such. Generally do this the rest of the day.
