Any forum member that lives here or has been in Khao Lak?
I spent 10 days in Patong and I had the time of my life(my 4th visit to Thailand so far), and I just arrived in Khao Lak and me and my group have to stay for like six days and I have been here for an hour and I already want to kill myself!!!
Its too boring and quiet... So what is there to do here except Similian Islands, Rafting and Scuba Diving? Any night clubs, go go bars etc like in Patong?
Also there is no 3G Signal here so my internet is slow as s##t!

Why don't you leave your group and head back to Patong. I live in Phuket and I don't really like Patong (too many tourists) but if that's what you like then just go back.

Well we went Rafting on some extreme track for like 12 KM that was fun, and we went elephant trekking and we did visit the Buddhist Temple, also rented a private speedboat to go to Similian Islands tomorrow so there is definitively stuff to do during the day, I am just wondering what to do at night time, and I did check on-line and locally seems like there are only 3-4 quiet bars and that's it...
And wouldn't make sense to leave my group since we are travelling together and I already paid for my hotel room here... Looks like ill just have to relax like normal people for a few days with no Working or Partying since the internet here is quite slow!
