I have come across a forum that is being slanderous to one of my colleagues.

He has sent complaints to the web owners to remove the posts with no response.

I am wondering what the next step would be. Is it worthwhile hiring a hacker to take down the site or spam the site?

    Any suggestions?

Depending on the nature of the slander and the physical location of the host server, legal action is possible. This isn't a hacking or cracking site, so you won't find much assistance here with regard to hacking.

Contact their host provider and explain the problem, see if they can take any action.

what rules do you mean? Are there rules that prevent websites writing slanderous things about an individual or company?

Just had a thought. I wonder if this is possible.

Is it possible to do an xrummer blast at a particular forum thread with thousands of posts that the whole thread or even forum in general just becomes a mess?

What about if we could co-ordinate all members who view this, to post spam on the thread. Would it be against rules to post the thread location in this case?
