So I do SEO for a few clients on the side and one of them recently left an SEO company to take on my services. His previous SEO company is a pretty big one and the CEO just contacted me for social media services for his clients. He has 60+ clients looking into social media but I really don't have any idea what to do.

    So here's my questions:

What would you do for a social media campaign?

What would you charge to do it?

How can I make sure the social media campaign is successful?

Now, I am not a noob by any means. I've been doing SEO for 5 years on my own sites and recently started an SEO company about 8 months ago. I focus solely on the real estate niche as that's my specialty. I can rank just about any site in the real estate niche in about 3 months for some pretty competitive keywords.

However, I have no idea what to do for social media marketing and what people would expect to get out of it. Any tips/suggestions would be much appreciated. I may also be looking for a social media coordinator to help with this stuff as well. If you know someone/company who specializes in social media marketing, I may be interested.

    Thanks!

1st: set up fb, tw, g+ site for this business
2nd: interlink alle this palttforms within theirself, and the websites (maybe a likebutton, or a likebox)
3rd: think about how they could get fans - maybe send some mails or better small giveaways to past consumers and tell them about the fb page
4th: start a coupon or discount on the fb site

there are sooo many different things you could offer.. :)

    Nobody has any ideas?

How about this. What would you pay someone to update your social networks with relative links/content in your niche once a day 5 days a week? Is that something that would be useful to a social media campaign?

Okay, I can do all that. What would you charge someone to setup those accounts? I mean it would take all but 15 minutes to set them all up. Would you charge on the follower counts? Or just setting them up and then charge per post? Curious what people would pay for this type of thing.

If you set up full detailed FB, TW, G+ I think you'll need more than 15 mins.
    - insert all the details
    - the logo/profile picture
    - twitter backgrounds
    - fb landing page with custom content for likes
    - facebook "places" if this company is a local business
    - & test this out ...

will take at least an hour and you could charge 50$-100$ according to your service and your quality..

insert social share buttons, facebook likebox and optimize the og tags: another 30-50 bucks..

So you are willing to charge 60 clients for something that you have no idea about?

    Thanks Demon, PM sent.

@Fathom - Where did I say I have no idea? I said I don't know what people expect. I know social media, and what I do for myself and my own company, but I've never charged or the service. I do have a problem charging someone something I am not sure about, but I do know how to market through Social Media. The problem is I don't know what the normal operating procedures are. What would you expect in a social media campaign? What would make you a satisfied client? That's what my post is about.
