I recently discovered a very bad Link from a bad PBN-Blog linking multiple times to my page and linking my pictures. Stuffed with keywords and so on, perhaps you know these kind of sites.
The Blog also links to some other (big) concurrents in that very niche.

I submitted the url to google, asking for deleting it and I hope my serps are gonna get better again now in a few days.
But I'd love to find out, which one of my concurrents is using these bad domains to kill other ones serps.
Of course it has Who-Is privacy. Does anyone of you guys have an idea for me, how I could get revenge or at least get the bad site de-indexed?

Linking your pictures, stuffed with keywords? Sounds like a bot which hitting actually a lot of sites nowadays.
Sites I am working with haven't been penalized for it and I don't think it's a negative SEO

Okay never heard of those bots, what are they even good for? But I'm sure you're right, because it all looks like bot-generated content.
My serps dropped around the time, majestic found the link, so I was seeing the connection between the two. And of course it's just metrics, but Majestic reads 0 for the URL flow metrics, so chances, it will act as a quality link are rather low.

I don't say they are good, but from my experience not bad as well. I know sites ranking well with being spammed by this bot... who knows maybe for another sites it can be negative. It seems like it just scrapes pictures and spams everything on it's way.

Nothing you can do. Build strong clean links that'll drown out the bad ones.

Yeah, that's exactly what the site looks like. Just wondering, what the actual intention behind those bots is.

I think I've heard of a service that removes bad links somewhere? Never used it, but maybe you could look into that?

Yes, indeed! Some Keywords got dumped down a few pages. About a week after disavowing the Links and building a few good ones it came back to almost normal.

thats why nowadays bad links are mainly ignored.

but thats not the case always.

Why are you sure that the NSEO caused your site to drop?

Because at this time I did almost no more linkbuilding for the site. The ranks dropped for the specific anchor keywords the bad blog used, also right in that time frame the links apppeared in majestic. After disavow the ranks of these keywords came back again. I did no major changes at that time, which would have killed my serps so badly, also just for those specific keywords.

I just think it would be a very unlikely coincidence.
