I have a site that ranked #9 for its main keyword 2 weeks after site launch.

2 weeks later it dropped out of the serps for all keywords. It dropped out for 2 months.

It then came back, for three days, then was no where to be seen for 3 months. 5 days ago it came back ranking well for 4 keywords. (#7, #7, #9 and #9)

Was getting around 190 uniques a day.

Now its gone? What the hell? Is there something google doesn't like about my site?

I have some fresh content being written for all my sites including this one.

I'm thinking some fresh content + ping + some EDU backlinks could bring it back for good?

    Thoughts?

    Cheers;)

OP - Make sure to diversify your backlinking, incase if u r doing only one kind of backlinking you will face same kind of google dancing.

My advise is build backlinks from web 2.0 properties, article directories, profiles as well as blog comments and make sure to keep building steady backlinks.
