I have a question, a few of my WP autoblogs have been getting the following type of complete utter junk comment. Of course its on moderation and I will spam it, but I do not understand why someone (or a bot) would post something that is so 10000% obvious junk/spam/trojan(probably).

Here is the comment: NO ONE FOLLOW PLS, JUST TO SHOW, modded for safety

Code:
Y1VCKR cgncegifeioe, [url=hxxp://wqxsaebctspp.com/]wqxsaebctspp[/url], [link=hxxp://oiqycdibibjd.com/]oiqycdibibjd[/link], hxxp://wbflejqvvhpy.com/
Does anyone know what the hell this is?

If the comment sticks, they will come back and post a legit link. No sense sending you a good link at first for you to report to their hosting company etc.

yeah I have been getting similar stuff, it always ends up in spam and I delete it but also
I get ton of junk like that for recommend a friend form on one of my older sites.
crap like:
kenmgux has used your recommendation form using an email address of mjntvz@ymenhs. com

The people the recommendation has been submitted to are:

mjntvz@ymenhs. com
mjntvz@ymenhs. com

The page recommended:

In regards of comments I also assume it is to check if the comments will stay for future spamming but I don't get why they even use similar for form recommend.

yea, I guess maybe they are just checking for unmoderated stuff. however I would think they would be smart enough to just post some bullshit from facebook or something that at least looks legit.

hmm, maybe on one of my minor blogs I will accept comment and see what happens lol, perhaps they will reveal the IP they want to spam with ...

my only worry is that bs link is some kind of trojan bomb bs and activating the comment would get the blog flagged as promoting that crap, although it would be nice to try to fuck with their site just to annoy them

I got some of those comments as well, my blog has very low PR and is not ********. I don't think its for testing though because I see tens of this if not hundreds. I even try to go to the garbled website refered to in the comment and the site doesn't exist.

But I can see the IP from the comment list.

C'mon guys, pointers please, if any forum can shed a light on this its BHW. :D

there's a WP plugin to ban users by IP address.

Start compiling a shit list, and banning certain IP addresses from accessing your site.

If you have super good niche, a golden keyword why would you give the game away? You can "launder" link juice with shitty domains without the dangers of spamming your actual domain or other webmasters spotting your niche.

Just spam away with the shitty domain, wait a few weeks/months & if it dosn't get deindex, etc, & other webmasters have forgottten about it... just do a 301 redirect to your domain of choice & all the link juice will transfer to the domain the redirection is pointed at ;)

If you slam a domain with the same anchor text links you trying to rank for, you trip google spam filters...so these nonsense links dilute your exact match percentages & you can save the exact match anchor for more hidden places for your link drops.

The green rep button is up to the right

That may be so, but none of what they post even makes any sense, its random characters. Even with a redirect, how does having a link with 3DSDFfdsr as anchor text or any millions of other random combinations help a site in any way? Also, none of the url's even exist from what I see - so the goal is to load thousands of random ones and then afterwords register a URL and redirect? Seems like way too much work and cost, but again, I have not been doing this that long.

the only thing I could think of is what you said, it purposefully dilutes, but what is the point of completely junk words, wouldnt that actually hurt you?
