    Hello,

Does anyone else consistently have problems using Death by Captcha in GSA SER? Everything I've read on the forums about this problem seems to be a problem on DBC's end, and that just with a little time the problem will go away on its own. I'm assuming, like everyone else who has discussed this before is that DBC just gets too busy and bogged down so a connection can't be made between the GSA and DBC. It's an assumption because no one has an exact answer (on the forums complaining about this) and that after awhile the problem will just go away.

Is that what the case is? What is a good alternative to DBC that is just as dependable (when it's working)? Any Death by Captcha reps on the forum care to explain this?

    Thanks

It's not really an issue with GSA itself, it happens on and off. For instance it will work for several hours, then all of sudden GSA can't connect to get the balance of DBC or use it ... but then after awhile DBC can connect again. Everywhere I've looked into this on the GSA forum and here always end up with the complaints, then after a day the problem is solved without any updates or whatever.

At any rate, I got a new service with captcha solutions to help as back up and it's so far doing quite well.

This happened to me as well. I was using DBC with SER and RankerX and neither program could make a usable connection. I was forced to move to Decaptcher and 2Captcha. I like DBC and their success rate is very good. It's a shame they can't make things work right.

Be sure you have your proxies or vpn turned off on your machine, when you are first connecting to dbc thru GSA or any other app. If proxies or vpn is on, you will have connection issues at first.

It's a fairly good assumption, OP.

DBC servers are often overloaded and the software is unable to communicate with the DBC server when that happens.
Not sure why ppl are unsure about this, it's pretty easy to pinpoint: go to DBC's site, when you notice, that the solving isn't working in the software, you'll find DBC overloaded.

    Case solved, the issue not.
