Ok, i just came across this Miami TV channel that streams online.

Im from Australia, and Miami is the number one place on earth i wanna go check out some day soon.

But to my surprise, when i checked out this Miami TV channel all the hosts are speaking another language and then randomly a little English.

    WTF???

I thought the main language of Miami and THE REST of America for that matter is English.

    What the hell?

When i go there one day will none of the fine girls of Miami even be able to understand my English?

Hey, remember "welcome to miami" "benvenido a miami" by Will Smith, yeah dude, in case you did not know yet: USA is ran over by immigrants and soon they are going to establish their own state and put a sexy latina bumm on the liberty statue..

Miami, Denver, Dallas, Los Angeles and pretty much any other big city has hybrids of English and Spanish. Spanglish. I live in Denver and there are areas where even road signs are in spanish. We have 3 local channels in Spanish too. But yeah, the majority of Miami speaks English. Just in some parts of town you might need to learn some Spanish.

Miami has a heavy Latin influence. In some sections, even the street signs are in Spanish.

The people in Miami are generally extremely nice and although my Spanish is limited, I thoroughly enjoyed my time when I lived down there.

WOW, yer its just weird to have like a whole network of channels pretty much dedicated to Spanish people, specially with the "majority of Miami speaking English"

Every channel here speaks mostly Spanish : http://www.miamitvchannel.com/

I love Miami! I want to go back. Yes, the Spanish community are really nice there.

Also, the US doesn't have an official language so basically anything goes, I guess.

English is just the most popular, widely used language.

OP was probably watching Telemundo ;) Try getting local American channel such as ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX station. That will let you stream content from American based and English spoken channels.
