I remember a year or two ago you digged a site, and two hours later it was in the index. I was always laughing at the people who asked how to get a site indexed.

Now...a few days ago i made another really nice blog, bookmarked it, goarticles, blogger even....backlinks...webmaster tools....sitemap.....analytics...

    Its still not indexed.

Then, a blogger blog i made three days ago...still not indexed also.

I also see more people on webmaster forums mentioning right now that their sites are taking very long to index...but i have NEVER had problems with this before. Now it seems i can bookmark the **** out of it and Google still doesnt pick up the sites.

Anyone seeing this too the last days/weeks?

    bh

Yes I have seen & experienced it. I am working on a friend's new blog right now and for 2 weeks G has given it a step-motherly treatment. I am going to add all the basic pages and write everything about how I'm not earning anything out of the ads on my blog, on how much I love my readers' email addresses and won't ever share it even with my family, blah blah... though I think G's servers have been hacked (scr*ewed) by the Ir*anians, Ch*inese, N.K*oreans, Am*ericans, Aliens, Martians, Plutonions, etc., or by their own engineers...

One of my friend's website since early 2000 has thousands of global backlinks, but all G shows is a tiny amount of backlinks from UK only. I also wonder if G is being taken over by the Chi*nese with a pint from their surplus $$$?

    I've noticed
It's starting to be very worrysome
If someone truly has hijacked google, then they basically are in control of.... everything

try this way, fast indexing by antx16
get indexed in Google really quick and get some backlinks at the same time, just replace yourdomain.com with the name of your website, then copy and paste each link in your browser and in 10 minutes or less job is done.

    Code:
    1- http://www.websiteoutlook.com/www.yourdomain.com

    2- http://www.statbrain.com/www.yourdomain.com

    3- http://www.builtwith.com/?yourdomain.com

    4- http://snapshot.compete.com/yourdomain.com

    5- http://www.aboutus.org/yourdomain.com

    6- http://www.quantcast.com/yourdomain.com

    7- http://www.cubestat.com/www.yourdomain.com

    8- http://whois.tools4noobs.com/info/yourdomain.com

    9- http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/yourdomain.com

    also

    1. ping
    2. digg, stumble, propeller
    3. PRESS RELEASE
    4. do a craigslist post.

All that in addition to the post above, sitemapping, robots.txt, and building a few backlinks SHOULD do the trick. Make sure you also have at least 3 pages of unique, quality content.

If it's STILL not working after that, post again. I might be able to help.

    I prefer this service:
    Code:
    http://www.megafoo.com/free-links/
Just ping the directory page. Takes less than 5 seconds to submit to 42 such sites.

Same here. I've finished 3 sites 2 weeks ago and they're still not indexed. I've been working on backlinks quite a bit too, articles, rss, social bookmarks, etc.

Actually google is now indexing your site quicker then a year ago, I'm indexing stuff in sub 10 sec now days.

As you know googles big on "relevance" & they have now added "time" as a major factor in the indexing algo. The default setting for a google search is to return queries within the "Any time" context. If you go to google and click on the "show options" button just below the search query form...you will discover in the left hand options column 6 different "time" options to filter your search queries.

If you click the "lastest" option you can watch your stuff been indexed in real time. try doing a search now using the "latest" time option for "Brittany Murphy" and you will see a page full of results scrolling in real time.

I'm having the same problem. Two weeks ago I got all my sites indexed in sub 2 hours as well as 90% of all the pages on the site.

The last few days I can't get anything indexed and if they do, it's only the homepage but not all the other pages. :(

Not really sure what's going on. Possibly Caffeine? The new algo might mean it takes longer for new sites to get indexed, but an existing site's new posts get indexed faster. It's a possibility.

I'm struggeling to get my linkwheel properties indexed, I've been pinging them and recently blasted them with xRumer.

However, when I publish an article to my already established/indexed blog, the article is indexed within a few hours.

I got sites indexed in max 5 days.
After that, after every article i publish, i do my own system, and ussually got indexed in 1 day.
I do not bookmark at all. Just follow the system.

New sites aren't being indexed at all for me. it may be due to the new search algorithm being migrated across all servers. I will continue to build backlinks as well as add content and see what happens in 2010 when everything settles down

Yeah google is taking a long time to index new sites and indexing new content faster. Ive found adding adsense speeds things up sometimes, otherwise you've just got to plan ahead.

Took a big portal I just created about 2.5-3 weeks before it was indexed - and it had tons of inlinks from other pages and websites. Did everything according to "the book" but still not even the firstpage got indexed. Just be patient and don't "overdo" the backlinking stuff and you'll be fine.
