Hey fellas, I really need a little help here. I submitted five articles to AC two days ago and got paid $1 for one and other 4 got rejected and I got the following response.

"Thank you for your submission. AC is building a unique library of online content, and, unfortunately, this submission doesn't differ enough in topic or breadth from existing content to qualify for Upfront Payment. For more information on why this content was declined, please consult this guide to Submitting for Upfront Payment."

I mean I checked with CS and PD for God's sake..

Can anyone please tell me.. How do you check your articles for plagiarism before submitting to AC??

Please do help me on this.. I have like 30 CS Passed articles that I paid for and would really appreciate it if they didn't go to waste..

Thanks is advance...

I don't think the issue is of the article's uniqueness in terms of differing from the original article. (you are using rewrites, correct?)

I think what they mean is that your articles don't have enough meat in them to be useful to the AC article database. Just because the article is unique, doesn't mean it's worth reading or contains any useful information.

hmm.... well then I probably should have made a better selection of articles to rewrite than to focus on passing CS...

Thanks again Danny :)

Danny -- look into Redtide's ebook and the general discussions on here. You really got to be picky about the ones you give to your writers. I'm learning the hard way as well. Everyone here has been a big help. I hope the rest of yours go better with getting passed by AC. Good luck to you! :-)

It sounds like this and your page views are the key to your problem. AC's blanketed rejection excuse lately has been the "not unique enough" reasoning, even though many times it will be that you're total page views aren't high enough vs. your total articles published.

I will say that the not unique enough excuse is never regarding whether they passed CS or PD or not. Like Danny said, it's most commonly regarding that your content doesn't offer anything new and unique to the already published library of content on AC.

Lol, probably a typo. I know full well the contents of Red's book. :p

must have something to do with page views/clout cuz they make bonehead rejections a lot. I write all unique and put up a decent volume.

news is seriously hit or miss with like 25 to 30% success rate last month on uniques. you get "too broad" then when you tighten up you get "too narrow"....
