I don't want to get into the story, but a website ripped me off.
It is partly my fault because I ignored some sketchy behavior but
I lured by what I thought was a great service, but was never delivered
and now I am out of $$$.

What the best way to rank a Rip Off Report page?

Link pyramid, tons of spam? Can it be ranked like a parasite page?
    Need help!

Not sure what you mean, i'm trying to rank a rip off report page, not outrank a ripoff report page.

Try diverse GSA spam packages etc. or maybe those 100 PBN posts for $15 type of stuff.

Lol I've never seen anyone actually link in a forum on contextual anchor text before. Ever. This is a first...

Rip Off Report has a lot of authority, these "scammed" sites are currently thriving in Google. How competitive is the term you want to rank it for (I assume it's their website name)?

It's simple, use the keywords related to the site and whomever owns it. That site's traffic and authority will do the rest.

I usually do the reputation management side so its an interesting exercise to look at the flip side. Those Rip Off Reports have a nasty habit of floating up to the top on their own. They attract clicks like flies on s$%t, and CTR and bounce rate are a big part of Google's algorithm these days. Maybe its best to do the rip off report and leave it at that, but if you must optimize it.

    > Include the company name in the header and several times throughout the body of the post. Also pepper in those incendiary search terms like scam, review, illegal. Anyone searching for those additional terms will get this high in the search and thus it will naturally start to gravitate to the top for the main keyword.

    > Setup a Google Alert for the company. If its being discussed in forums or in articles, drop the link to the Rip Off Report and spread the venom to new audiences.

    > Don't stop at Rip Off Report. Hit consumeraffairs.com, scam.com, complaints.com, scambook.com with the same complaint.

    > Spread the word on social media talking about the ripoff and link back to the Rip Off Report.

I'm sure there are lots of others, but I'll leave it there. Just think of it as a reverse reputation management campaign. Again, I'd think long and hard before you spend your valuable time trying to take down someone like this.

Ranking an ROR page is not that hard using common SEO methods. Being one of those that had a false ROR, and just about every other consumer complaint site report made against me because of my activism in getting the mugshots websites under control, I will be damned if I will tell you how to rank those kinds of sites. My own opinion is that people that abuse the consumer complaint sites for vengeance should be placed in a box with mid east scorpions for a most painful death. So do yourself a favor, make your report and let it be.

AMEN brother. ROR is a scam itself-the biggest one of all. Sheeple just don't get it.
