I've got a Twitter account with a few thousand followers in the small, local, business niche that I'm doing nothing with. I don't have time to get involved in a lengthy project but I'm thinking I may as well promote an affiliate product or service in their direction, something that has no involvement on my part other than me advertising a link to them. Any ideas of online digital products or services they might purchase? Keep in mind it can't be something I have to do lots of work for as I don't have the time.
You could probably find a small business marketing product and market that to them. For example, a guerilla marketing type of product geared for them specifically. You could also partner with another firm and sell a service. For example, a lot of small businesses would love to rank for keywords like "Pizza in Chicago." So SEO is an option. You can also sell mobile apps for small businesses, which are really hot right now. If you don't want to partner with a firm, you could even just resell BHW services for a commission. Don't want the work of answering questions? Just setup an arrangement with the service provider so they answer all the questions and just pay you for any orders. Make sure your list knows the email address to contact, instead of contacting you.
I would look into building websites/mobile sites, seems alot of local business don't have websites, let alone mobile friendly sites.
