CLP is a content locker for YOUR website.

You need to upload it to your server and install it so it pops up on your webpage.

    CLP - Content Locker Pro

There is also a script going around to lock blogger but I didn't get it to work.

And you only want to use content locker if your in a CPA network. Otherwise you will be promoting no ads.

You use a content locker when you can offer something on your website that ppl want. It can be information, videos, software, ANYTHING.. But they need to WANT it.

When they visit your site the content locker will come up so if they want to access your web page, they need to fill out some type of survey where u get $$.

OK this should explain everything.... Presuming you have a website with content you wish to lock, you will need to join a CPA network. CPA networks provide you with hundreds of offers to promote, and you get $ every time someone completes an offer using your link. A typical offer is "Win an iPad", where people have to fill in their name + email + zip code to win an ipad, and you get paid each time someone enters that competition. Surveys are also another type of offer, and downloads (download, install and play a game), and a few other types.

Many CPA networks provide a content locker. Basically, they give you some javascript code which you paste on a page you want to lock. Then when someone visits your page, a popup comes up on top of your page, and your content is locked behind the popup (the visitor can see the website behind the locker, but can't interact with it at all). On the popup will be a few links to some offers, and a message saying "Complete one of these offers to unlock the content on this page". When a visitor completes one of these offers successfully, the popup then disappears giving them access to the locked page. That's pretty much it.

Content Locker Pro is an alternative 3rd party content locker that you can buy on the BST. You host it yourself and you can customise it heavily to suit your needs - the content lockers provided by CPA networks are not as customisable. Once you know what you're doing with locking content CLP is a great investment which will make you more money than the standard content lockers.

To summarise, sign up to a CPA network that has their own content lockers, get accepted, follow their instructions on how to set up their content lockers and lock some content on a website of yours, then send traffic to your site and if the visitors want your content enough you'll make some money :)
