What should kw density be?

Fairly simple question.

Can anyone advise what the ideal kw density for visible text (i.e what the end user sees)?

Im thinking 5% but I've also been reading articles which suggest 2%

Anyonme have any good advice/references?

Text which is 500 words: Try to have the KW once in the title and twice in the body.

Between 3% and 6%...so 5 is good.
But you don't want all your posts/articles within the same site have the same density.
So move between those 2 percentages.
