I just acquired 4 superbowlXLVII domains for the sole purpose of auctioning them off. I'm wondering what I should start the bid at. Should I start it pretty high, or start it low and let the bidders take it up?

I would let them all drop before you get sued after selling them for a profit. The NFL are very strict in enforcing their trademark. Lots of sources out there for that - just do your due diligence in future before buying infringing domains.

I 100% agree with Meathead you will get sued by the NFL for even saying the word "Superbowl" in a commercial setting. They own the word and now you need to let the domains expire and use this as a learning experience.
