I'm trying to stay calm about this, however, due to my lack of "being a dumb b*&[email protected]", I completely forgot about my one domain I had as a money site that I put in several months of time into.

Short story. I was browsing Google on my MacBook, searched one of my keywords that I was ranking for with this domain, and literally my website wasn't there anymore. I typed in my domain to see if my website was still live and it wasn't.

My domain has been expired for like 2 weeks without knowing that it was expired. I just renewed it and put it on auto renew so this doesn't happen again. But what should I do in the meantime? I'm sure my articles that I wrote are not ranking for any keywords right now.

Are they going to rank again in the same place after the domain has been expired for like 2 weeks?

    P.S:
This is the first time this happened to me. I'll try not to be a "dumb b*&[email protected]" next time.

You need to re register the domain , you have time to do so usally ,it takes 90 days to fully put the doamin back to stock.

Unless it get purchase from someone else in that case your f *****

    Good luck .

Ps. Any website that was linked to the domain will gain it indexing afther time.

After it gets re-crawled, the rankings (if there was any previous rankings) should come back aswell.
What most likely happened would be, google tried to crawl your site, and since it's expired etc etc not there
    Everything should be fine.

P.s After reading comments, i am very fucking confident, tons of BHW peeps don't fucking read OP's thread from start to end.

You are very lucky! Years ago I forgot something similar and some douche already bought my domain which didn't even had more than 10 backlinks and redirected it to some shitty dating offer.

Is all your content still indexed? It shouldn't be gone after only 2 weeks. If yes, then all should be fine. If not, then well... they won't be ranking where they were, due to their age being reset.

Good thing it didn't take longer than 2 weeks. Right now, all you can do is wait and see where your pages will rank.
