What should I do if a new domain has shown no SEO results after five months?

I registered a new domain and launched a new site on February 3rd. I’ve been working on SEO for five months now, but there’s been absolutely no response—I’m starting to lose patience. Could use a little encouragement.
Do not loose patience. Keep working on it and side by continue with job or some other business to pay the daily bills.

Five months with zero movement usually means something deeper than patience. I would check if you are targeting keywords that are too competitive or if the content really matches search intent. On brand new domains I often do not see meaningful traction until 6 to 9 months, but there should still be some growth in impressions before that.

You need to review your progress through some metrics like index rate, impressions, have you targeted any low competition keywords and if they ranked, how far are you from your competitors, topical authority, is your content matching user intent, etc.

It's difficult to talk about a website's performance without knowing such details.
