My wifes boss is on the front page for men's hair salons in our area, but a competitor has two higher rankings. I've looked over the source pages for both his site and his competitors site and both respective web designers did not put forth their best effort with respect to meta tags, site maps, h1 and h2 tags ect.

I should be able to get him better rankings.

He also has a professionally produced video that I can viralize, thus getting him multiple listings on the first 3 pages of whatever keywords wordtracker research suggests.

My question to the panel is: What should I charge? I was thinking a commission only structure of positions and listings.

$100 per month for every ranking higher than the competition on the first page and 100 per month for every extra position using video on page one per month. $50 per month per listing on page two and $25 for page 3 respectively.

I think I could get him 12 listings on pages 1, 2, and 3 at least.
Your thoughts?

sounds like a fair price.... but really depends how much of a benefit that will be for him... now if you said you can take his competitor off page 1 of google and have just his site on page one then you are onto a winner and i think would grab his attention more.... and it would be of alot more value to him that way.
