What should be my site title if the domain for the keyword is taken?

Hi everyone!
I'm creating a micro niche site and I found out that my keyword is taken so what I did was add a prefix to my keyword e.g. MYkeyword.com

I'm wondering SEO wise, what should be the title of my site? (the one inside the <title> tags)

Should it be:

1. <title>Keyword</title>

or

2. <title>My Keyword</title>

I say put it in the title tags with just Keyword, or number 1. I'm new to this though.

Keyword alone for seo.
My keyword for branding + seo.

If people aren't likely to possibly remember your domain and return, just keyword.

just the keyword. but in the end it really will be one of the 99 things that make your site a success.

Agreed. Also you probably have related keywords too so something like.

I just want to share my experience and the mistake I made.

My site used to have the title "Best Keyword". Google has already indexed my page after a day and I got a couple of clicks the next day from 4ds3ns.

Then the following day I was reading and I've read that it's a great idea to include only the keyword so since I've just launched my site I thought it's the best time to change the title if I'm ever going to tweak it I'm going to tweak it now. I did change it to "Keyword" to improve density. The sad part is I can't see my site in 600gle anymore. Too bad the day before I saw a visitor coming from 600gl3 in my stats. Looking back I think it really didn't matter that much that I got "best + keyword" in my title. What really did matter is changing it. What are your opinion guys?
Anyway I guess that's one lesson learned that the ebooks don't teach you

I change my title a few times to see which one gets more clicks and i haven't seen a drop in rankings yet. Maybe you are just seeing the google dance due to it being a new site?

I hope so though. I found my site on search results and the text hasn't changed yet.

Just use the Keyword's you're ranking for accompanied by something relevant. This will be fine - just as long as it isn't something like "Sweet Laptops Mate" lol
