Holy shit why isn't that guy in the basement?

I don't know if there was a basement in his house or not. A lot of homes in places like the midwest and south here in the US don't have basements.

Ah I never realized that. I live in the northeast US and everyone here's got one it seems. Interesting we rarely get tornados and have basements and those in the Midwest don't have basements but get tornados.

Yeah, I'm Southeast US. It's hit or miss here. In places like Florida, it's a lot more rare since a good portion of the state is super close to sea level, and there is minimal benefit.

I have had some close calls with tornadoes, even spending my teenage years in the mountains. It's crazy how they can come out of nowhere. My worst fear is one happening at night with no warning. That was almost the case when I was in college. Tornado sirens, sky had a green glow, rain was falling up from the intense winds outside the dorm room windows, and I kept refreshing the tornado warning on my computer while everyone was piled in the first floor hallway.

It was the same storm band as the Tuscaloosa tornado that killed like 70 people: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Tuscaloosa%E2%80%93Birmingham_tornado

I am afraid of people discussing things which scare them because, while reading such a discussion, I could come across something very scary.

Frigging snakes , i just aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa hate 'eemmm and they scare the shit outta me

When I was younger, I used to live in Oklahoma. I remember one day there were some tornado warning sirens that were going off, but it never really scared me, it just annoyed me because they were loud. I still remember the tornado drills in school (they always brought up looking for a ditch to lie down in).

To answer your question, spiders are ghastly.

Losing all my clients to someone else.
You made this more magnified in my mind now, thanks!
