what proxies are best?

Nothing has beat rotating residential proxies imo. There's a reason scraping providers only offer these, they are the most cost effective

Residential proxies or static isp proxies are usually better.

What type of proxies are best for scraping these days? i want to scrape google results and crawl. Is public proxies still works or i need to pay?
Mobile proxies are the best for scraping because they use real mobile IPs, have high trust scores, and are much harder to detect or block. Public proxies, on the other hand, are unreliable, often abused, and quickly blacklisted by Google. If you’re serious about scraping, paid proxies are the way to go.

Waheyy, here's Nathan here to throw the thread off track - can I ask boys, what would happen if I was to have scraped SERPs, or if I had scraped the likes of a websites information without a proxy in place?

Is it a case of getting caught? Going too far? Just being told off?
It depends on the site's security measures—some might just block your IP temporarily, while others could take stricter action if they detect repeated scraping. Without a proxy, you're more likely to get rate-limited or flagged, especially on high-traffic sites. If you're scraping at scale, it's always good to rotate IPs and respect rate limits to avoid unnecessary trouble.

Definitely residential proxies. I recently used Sigma proxies. They are quite cheap like 1gb bandwidth for just$1.27 something. You can use rotating

Just like everyone else said, residential and mobile works the best. Mobile has an edge as it is harder to detect and manually rotates.

Sorry if this is a basic question, but do I need to use mobile proxies exclusively with a mobile phone?
