There is a lot of Pinterest advice repeated online as if it applies to every account, but I'm sure many experienced users have discovered that some commonly repeated recommendations don't work for them.
What Pinterest advice do you disagree with based on your own experience?
It could relate to publishing frequency, keywords, boards, pin design, hashtags, follower count, automation, seasonal content, or anything else.

Please explain what you tested and what happened because real world experiences are much more useful than simply saying that a particular strategy is bad.

One thing I’d question is the idea that posting more automatically means more reach. I’ve seen better results from fewer pins with stronger titles, keywords, and visuals than from flooding an account with similar pins. I’d also not put much weight on follower count. A pin can get good reach months later if it matches what people are searching for, so I’d judge strategies by saves and outbound clicks over time rather than followers alone.

You have to post, post post dozens of pins each day to see results.

I do agree with that part consistency is 95% of the whole job the way to do it is not really a problem even if you do it wrong you will realize it throughout doing it often. You will gain experience. Just conistency is all that matters.

tbh the obsession with "fresh pins" is kinda exhausting and not even that effective in my experience. spent way too much time making brand new templates when repinning older successful stuff to different boards works just as well. the algorithm isn't as smart as people think...

i disagree with the idea that posting more always brings better results. i tested higher posting frequency and mostly saw lower engagement, while fewer, better-designed pins with stronger keywords performed much better.
