So long story, short.
Opportunity came knocking, some money came in.

Me and my friend are thinking of opening up store that does X, total investment should be under $400,000...

The first think that came to our heads is Burger/Hotdog/Fries store.
Cheap & Fast.
You in, you pay, you eat, your out.
All within 15 minutes.

Open to suggestions.

I know a guy who opened a small cafe on a busy street in a medium sized street, by Irish standards .

He does breakfasts and lunches as well as teas, coffees and other fast food.

He reckons it is like printing money, but I guess that is due more to the location of his premises rather than what he was selling?

A cool borrito place that sells unique borritos.

I was talking to my GF today about opening a pizza place called "Special Slices". We would only sell unique kinds of pizza.

We would deliver the pizza in a Mini Bus an send out youtube videos to HS kids for "Todays Specials" done with my best "Special Person" impersonation. I thought it would be viral but she thinks it would piss people off.

I want to own a McDonald's. It takes something like $300k in non financed cash to be eligible for a franchise, and you have to be involved in the day 2 day business. I just read that the average McDonald's brings in around 2.3 million, and the owners take home around 10% of that.

Owning a MAJOR franchise is definitely a goal of mine for longterm income that I can pass on to any children that I might have.
