    Hi,

If I want to register a brand name, what are some numbers that are common in using after the domain.

101 is for information site I suppose.

    Is 99 good ?

Are there any other numbers ?

    Thanks

An actual brand name for a company that actually exists ? Always a bad idea.

The old practice of putting a 1 etc after a domain is the sort of thing that got hammered in the emd devaluation so I wouldn't do that either.

Hmm.. I think I would only put numbers in my domain if they were a part of the brand name. It just looks too spammy otherwise.

For example: 41Ways.com : 41 Ways to steal your neighbor's mangoes. (I'd say this is ok)
Mangoes2.com: Because Mangoes.com was taken. (I think this doesn't appeal so well)

    1337 - cuz you're leet

Seriously, you're asking for problems with trademark infringement. It will start with take down notices and end with the loss of the domain if you don't comply and possibly a lawsuit.
